Google has announced latest Android platform distribution numbers in which Android 2.1(Eclair) is clearly prominent. The statistics shows that 55% of the android devices is running on the Android 2.1 OS, while only 3.3% running on Android 2.2(Froyo). The point is notable here is that Android 2.0 and Android 2.0.1 are statically insignificant. The latest Google OS version Android 2.2 will get the bigger slice in future because more and more android devices are being updated.
