American Airlines is the first US airline to announced mobile boarding passes to allow customers to receive their boarding passes electronically on their mobile devices. How will Mobile Boarding pass work
The process will work using a two-dimensional barcode, American Airlines will begin trialing the service in Chicago, Los Angeles and Orange County, Calif. When customers check in for their flight online, they’ll have the option of receiving their boarding pass on their cellphone or PDA, which will receive an email link to their boarding pass that can.
