OK Integrated GPS for location-based applications and geotagging but the big question is do you need a data connection to use the GPS mapping function out of the box? I mean Nokia comes with it FREE maps pre-loaded onto the device so no Data plan is required for the maps (and you can update your phone’s maps on-line for FREE anytime!).
I like the phone and I would use the Wi-Fi functionality for data usages but I really really do not want to waste my money on a data plan just to use some of the features.

Jim why would you ever buy a blackberry and not get a data plan. Thats like buying a car without gas. Ya you can sit in it and listen to music but you wount be able to go anywhere. The blackberry is the most data requiring mobile phone they make.

Sad part is a lot of things get ironed out with the OS updates. Sadder is that most carriers want to wait to shove their shit onto the OS, so 99% of the people never get the better experience.
I thought my 9000 was good at 4.6. A dozen firmware updates later it’s getting better with age.
