Nokia has unveiled its new Nokia 808 smartphone that comes with 41 Megapixle camera in MWC 2012. Nokia 41 MP camera phone is not what you think. Its misrepresented! If you’ve only skimmed the news, there are some things you should probably know about this strange beast of a camera. According to Nokia, it is possible with the camera to take pictures at full resolution. The default setting is only 5 MP for photos and 1920×1080 pixels for video. The remaining pixels are used to filter out disturbances, such as the color noise. They also provide space for a “real” digital zoom with no interpolation. For this purpose, Nokia has integrated a bright F2.4 optics, a Xenon flash and an LED light for video.

It doesn’t take 41-megapixel photos in any way, shape, or form. Even in the special high-res creative mode, it “only” produces 38 megapixels. Mostly it will be taking normal-size shots, between 3 and 8 megapixels. So what the hell does this 41 megapixel figure even mean?
So in actual Nokia 808 phone has so many megapixels, its megapixels have megapixels.The 808′s image sensor is not only larger in resolution, but physical size. It’s larger than the ones in most–if not all–current smartphones as well as the majority of point-and-shoots.

If you look at the Nokia PureView 808 smartphone picture it looks like a camera with built in phone. No doubt the result of the camera is far more better then all high end smartphone even better pictures than vast majority of point-and-shoot cameras.
According to reports that new Nokia phone has a 1/1.2-inch sensor with Carl Zeiss optics lens. The sensor is much larger than the sensor in smartphones indeed much larger than compact cameras. The Nokia 808 takes 5MP images in automatic mode which means it can easily takes pictures even in low light.

The Nokia 808 smartphone can easily take 16:9 format images at 34 megapixels thus enable you to croop and zoom images. Specially photographer can use the continuous autofocus or tap specific part of picture.
If you closely look at the Nokia 808 phone it camera has two different flashes: a Xenon and LED light. The Xenon is used for quick shots while the LED light that is better for video shots.You can also record 080p video at 30, 25, 24, or 15 frames per second which is exceptional.
In addition, Nokia has added “rich recording” mode in the camera which makes it sound recording really impressive.
Finally, the new Nokia 8008 smartphone appears to have good number of Nokia app. So we conclude that it is a quite powerful phone with estimated cost of 450 euros.
