Blogs were full of  Nokia’s android device plans when  Guardian posted its story on Nokia bringing its touchscreen mobile phone running Google’s Android operating system and added more flare saying that nokia plans to  show off the device at the Nokia World conference in September 2009.

How can Nokia think of bringing Nokia device with Android OS and leaving Symbian as its preferred OS for Smart phones. Does this makes sense? The Guardian cited ‘industry insiders’ saying that Nokia, the world’s largest phone manufacturer, was making an Android device to be introduced in September. It Loooks way too odd since Nokia is the full owner of the Symbian OS, but stranger things have happened.

Nokia has  shown it down anywhere they could, including on Twitter:

“re: Nokia’s rumored Android phone and you can quote me on this: We (Nokia) are NOT making an Android smartphone. Symbian is our platform…”
