How to Jailbreak iPhone 4/3GS, iPod Touch 4G/3G , iPad, Apple TV 2G on iOS 4.3.1 using Sn0wbreeze 2.5
Step 1: Download and install Snowbreeze 2.5 and then connect your iPhone to computer via USB.
- Download iTunes 10.2.1 for Windows.
- Download Sn0wbreeze 2.5 for Windows.
- Download iOS 4.3.1 for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
Step 2: Now launch Sn0wbreeze, click the next “blue†colored arrow
Step 3: Now click on “Browse” button to select the .IPSW firmware file for your iPhone.
Step 4: Once Sn0wbreeze detect the selected IPSW file, then click on “blue†colored arrow to continue.
Step 5: Now select “Expert Modeâ€, and then ” Build ISPW” option. It will create custom firmware.
Note: Select “Baseband Preservation Mode†If your iPhone relies on a unlock and don’t select “Expert Mode†option in Step 5. Here you will have to wait a little as custom firmware file is being created.
Step 6: Once the custom firmware file has been created you will be greeted by Sn0wbreeze with the following message “Done!â€
Step 7:Â Now in order to enter into DFU mode: Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds, then release the Power button but continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds again. Now you are in DFU mode
Step 8: Now launch iTunes, and select your iOS device icon from the sidebar in iTunes. Now from your keyboard press and hold Left “Shift†button and then click on “Restore†button in iTunes and then release this button.
You iTunes prompt you to select your custom firmware 4.3.1 file. Now select the custom .ipsw file that you created above, and ” Open” it.
Step 9:Now sit back as iTunes installs the new firmware 4.3.1 on your iPhone. You will also see progress bar on your iOS device indicating installation progress. Once installation is done, your iPhone will be jailbroken on iOS 4.3.1.
