There is a lot of different and misleading information about Hero update, and we are therefore compelled to take the information with a grain of salt. There have been many bids when HTC released an update to the HTC Hero. Now it seems that Android 2.1 will be mobile by next month

According to an email from HTC, which has been published on the website Swedrid.se, is it intended to release Update Andrid 2.1 “around April”, but there are also highlighted by the HTC page it still does not “written in stone”.

If we stick to the plan, will update a similar time as Hero sequel Legend coming on the market. Thus, both models have the same version of the Android. It would also mean that HTC will update Sense interface of Hero.
