Apple iphone sales in 2009 has expanded with the availability of iphone in many markets. This has increase number of sales for Apple manufacturer of most popular device on earth. Apples expects that 10 million iPhones will be sold here in the fourth quarter of 2009.
They are thus expected to total sell 10 million of the three different iPhonevariants they have for sale. And it will be a new record for Apple.
The highest number of iPhones sold in a single quarter so far is 7.4 million. This was the case in the third quarter of this year. For comparison, in the same quarter sold 10.2 million iPods.
