Sony Ericsson Really rocking its marketing. This time they are going to organize a match between two of the world best female tennis stars Ivanovic and Dementieva on a desert island in Doha. Sony Ericsson Promoting its mobile through tennis and always come with a one new idea in Sony Ericsson Championship.
This match is a part of Sony Ericsson Championships, the Swedish-Japanese handset maker along with folks from WTA organized a special match, featuring tennis beauties Ana Ivanovic and Elena Dementieva.
The Serb and the Russian played on a replica tennis court, specifically built for the occasion. The match took place on Palm Island in the middle of Doha Bay in the Arabian Gulf.
Commenting on the occasion, Sony Ericsson’s Aldo Liguori said: “We are committed to innovating and introducing unique activities in women’s tennis to continue to attract new fans and broaden the appeal of the sport on a global basis. It has been a great year for the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour and I hope through events like this we can attract more fans to the Tour and the exciting prospect of the 2009 season.”
