LG has an agreement with Microsoft to use Windows Mobile on their smartphones, but apparently, the South Korean manufacturer making as much use of competitor Google’s Android operating system.
LG’s director, Nam Yong, has for now decided that about half of the producer’s new smartphones in 2010 will use Android OS . LG will also have smartphones running Windows Mobile, but then at least as many with Android. It writes The Korea Herald.
While we wonder this announcement from LG, can we as consumers sit back and hope that the tough competition brings us some formidable mobiles with both Windows Mobile and Android this year.
