LG has admitted that they are unable to produce enough iPad LCD display screen to meet the order placed by the Apple for the iPhone and iPad LCD screen . This is the statement made by the LG CEO, Young-soo, while giving an interview to the Wall Street Journal. Recall you here LG is the biggest supplier of Apple iPad LCD screen after Samsung. Here we have quoted the statement made by the LG EO, ” Apple is ordering more and more displays but it isn’t something we can be able to respond quickly. I am not sure whether we can be able to meet orders from other companies for similar products, but we will be able to supply the displays without fail…by the second quarter of next year.”
Apple iPad sale has made a great impact in Apple revenue generation. Recall you here since the launch of iPad 3.3 million units have been sold and it is also coming in 19 more countries soon. But after the statement of LG CEO its appears that the lack of supply panels is causing a major supply bottleneck for the iPad.
However, it is expected that LG will meet the demand of huge of LCD screen by the 2nd quarter of next year. Until now iPad lover may have to face iPad shortage.
