London’s Metropolitan Police to launch Crime map
London a city of financial depth has many other faces. A city with highly expensive markets have also a high rate of criminal activities.London has more than 10000 crime fighting CCTV cameras which cost £200 million.
But here is another major advancement , To be launched early next month.London’s Metropolitan Police have introduced a crime map, showing incidents throughout the city. Built on Google maps technology it show scrime data to users a crime map of London. Initially these maps will only show burglary, robbery and vehicle crime incidents.
Viewers can see which of the 32 boroughs have enjoying more or less crime than in previous years, and which lie above or below the average crime rate for the capital. This can be searched by postcode, or zoom into specific neighborhoods for results.
