In the coming week run ISE 2010 (Integrated Systems Europe), the 2nd-4th February in Amsterdam, where several electronics manufacturers will showcase new products. One of them is Mitsubishi, which has taken a 149-inch OLED screen.
The big screen is not intended for use as television in private, but as such. an advertising sign and consists of many small OLED panleler which ar mounted side by side.
Each panel turns around. 10×10 inches and is distinguished by having no edge, so when placed side by side, they look like a big screen.
The solution to the big screen is 1088 x 640 pixels which corresponds to a pixel distance of 3 mm. The brightness is 1500cd/m2 making it suitable for use in said premises / areas.
