5.4% mobile users browse Internet

Percentage of mobile internet users are growing steadily. Although worldwide internet  users of mobile,  the number of daily mobile  users who browse internet is still small, the trend is toward Mobile Online. The Survey was conducted for mobile internet trends by Media Magazine HORIZON  in February 2010.

5.4 percent of  daily broadband  mobile users go to Internet sites from their mobile.Survery  shows in 2008, it was at 3.4 percent . Even then 6.6 percent use their cell phone for emails. Even the cell phone as a media player replacement gaining popularity. MP3 listen to 20.3 percent at least once a week. The most popular application, however, remains the SMS and MMS costs. 30.7 percent of mobile phone users to write short messages every day.

Among the promising applications is to guide the mobile front. To navigation services and location-based services is the greatest interest. Potential users can be seen especially in services, which provide added value, such as Mobile Banking or the possibility of Facebook and to use other mobile social networks. Persuasion is, however, nor provide for the mobile use of newspapers or books. Although publishers launch apps to their print titles, remains of interest.
