Despite an earlier announcement in which it was suggested that mobile phone manufacturers themselves to decide whether they will offer an upgrade to Windows 7 Phone, this is the opportunity now shot down. It is responsible for Microsoft’s Asian department for mobile communications, Natasha Kwan, coming with the new announcement. The reason is simply that none of the current phones on the market meets Microsoft’s hardware requirements.
Specifically mentions Kwan HTC’s Touch HD2, both are good enough has 1 GHz CPU, big touch screen, camera and 3.5 mm jack, but do not live up to the number of buttons.
According to the specifications must be a Windows 7 Phone mobile phone to have three buttons, neither more nor less, HD2 has five buttons, so it can not be used.
The final minimum specifications for the hardware to a Windows Phone 7-phone is expected to be announced to the Developer Conference MIX.
