Few days back  Nokia announced that  75 leading technology companies had signed up to use Symbian OS,  and today Nokia anounces a  $630 million loan help its finance research and development projects. Nokia has taken loan from from the European Investment Bank which it plans to use in 2009-2011,  making its Symbian-based smartphones more competitive.

samsung sony and ericsson andfew other  mobile phone device manufacturers are using Symbian OS which is developed by Nokia. There  More than 250 million Symbian OS-based units have been shipped to customers since the formation of Symbian 10 years ago, Symbian Software said.
