The DEV-3 and DEV-5 digital binoculars comes with Exor R CMOS sensors supported by BIONZ image processors. Both Binoculars digital camera and camcorder provide enhanced image quality while viewing at higher zoom levels.
Both Sony Binoculars DEV-3 and DEV-5 are fully capable to take still images and record 1080 HD video with its 7.2 megapixel camera . The binoculars comes with two 10x zoom lenses, plus auto-focus with motion tracking while the image stabilization prevents shaky footage in recorded. So you can make film in 3D, or take photographs with the magnification to a maximum of 5.4 x is limited.
