Skype says bye to Windows Mobile

Skype has long supported Windows Mobile. Actually it was one of the first mobile operating systems, Skype was available, if not as the first. But it has not complied with Skype now completely drop it. Skype has for now dropped both Skype for Windows Mobile and Skype Lite, a version made for mobile, not smartphones. Skype explains the choice that they do not feel that the Skype versions for the best possible user experience.

Skype has on their website completely removed the links to the sub pages, where you previously could not get the two Skype versions. Since the Skype for Windows Mobile can still be found at this linkSo it is perhaps a good idea to retrieve it before the page is completely removed. Unless of course already has switched to an alternative Skype-compatible program such as Fringe.
