by usmanzia on September 4, 2008

America latest handset market shows that even the biggest and successful brands have failed in this field. and U.S. market continues to be a tough nut to crack for the established handset makers. Nokia Corp., Motorola Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. control 80% of the cellphone market but have struggled in the U.S. to sell smart phones.

What really  needs to be understand is that the most number of smartphone   users are in USA which means that its is world most influential are in Smart phones industry where people prefer to use Blackbery that lets them go freely.

Often caught up satisfying carrier demands, handset makers have been slow to bring out products in this segment, opening the door for the likes of Research in Motion Ltd. and Apple Inc.
