RIM has officially announced five new Blackberry smartphones(including Blackberry Torch 9850/ 9860). All the newly announced Blackberry 7 OS smartphones will be based on next generation Blackberry 7 Operating System. However, RIM didn’t mention pricing as well as which mobile carrier will offer these smartphone.

The BlackBerry Torch 9850 and Blackberry Torch 9860 smartphones comes with largest display screen ever made by RIM. Both Blackberry Torch 9850/ 9860 features includes: 3.7 inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz single-core processor, 768MB of RAM and 4GB on-board memory. All the newly announced Blackberry smartphones are running on latest Blackberry 7 OS. Both BB torch 9850/ 9860 smartphones has 5 MP camera with flash and the ability to record 720p video. Other specification includes: BlackBerry Maps, MicroSD card support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS.

You may thinking then what is the difference between Blackberry Torch 9850 and Blackberry Torch 9860. Well, the main difference is that BB Torch 9860 is a GSM device, while the BB Torch 9850 is a CDMA device. So can easily guess that Blackberry torch 9850 will be offered by by Verizon or Sprint in U.S.

Blackberry Torch 9850/9860 will be offered by Vodafone, Orange and O2 in UK.
Blackberry Torch 9850/ 9860 Availability in Canada
In Canada, this BB Torch 9850/ 9860 will be offered by Rogers, Telus and Bell. .
U.S mobile carrier Sprint and US Cellular will offer the BlackBerry Torch 9850 in this fall.
