The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone specs reveals that it is the first smartphone that can boast a removable joypad, that makes it a true gaming platform based on the Android OS. The new Sony PlayStation phone has a 4-inch diagonal display and is based on Google mobile OS Android 2.3 Gingerbread.It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1 GHz clock speed. Other features of Sony Xperia Play includes  512 MB RAM, 1 GB of ROM.

Sony Android Phones with Facebook Sign-On Integration

Sony Ericsson has announced on the Inside Social App Conference that in a few months all the Android mobiles made by Sony will move and acquire the ability to Facebook Single sign-on. See also: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Review

The exact details about integration are not known. However, in future Sony based Android smartphone will come with Facebook preinstalled app while the Single Sign-On will be integrated as an optional setting in the setup process of The integration will also go over the functionality of the Facebook app out.

Facebook Single Sign On was introduced last year. It is the mobile equivalent of Facebook Connect. In practice this means  any one who want to use the apps on Facebook and would offer the user the ability to connect and use the Facebook from your mobile the same way that uses Facebook Connect to the web from desktop and laptop computers.

Hopefully,  Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc will be first smartphone that will come with Facebook integration in the market.

Disney Android Mobile Announced in Japan

Disney Mobile(Operates as MVNO) has announced the launch of its first Disney Android phone in Japan.The new Disney mobile will be based on Google mobile OS Android 2.2 Froyo.  The Android smartphone seems to be a Disney-branded version of the Sharp 003SH and will be offered with optional Disney theme Cases.

Gigabyte GSmart G1310 Dual SIM Android Smartphone, Price 199 €

The Taiwanese manufacturer Gigabyte is planning to launch a  new dual SIM Android smartphone naming as GSmart G1310. The GSmart G1310 Android smartphone will be available with estimated price of 199 €. The new android smartphone will come in two different colors (Champagne gold and pearl white) and will debut in the first quarter of 2011 in Eastern Europe.

The GSmart G1310 Android smartphone specs reveals that it has a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by Qualcomm MSM7225 processor with clock speed 528 MHz. It will be based on Android 2.2(Froyo) and other specification includes 256 MB RAM, 512 MB of ROM and 5 megapixel camera with autofocus.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the GSmart G1310 should be able to rely on WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and AGPS.

Sony Xperia PlayStation Phone headed to Orange UK

The Sony Ericsson Xperia PlayStation Phone will soon be available in UK via Orange. However, no details and exact date has been revealed when Orange will launch SE Xperia PlayStation Phone in UK. But one thing is for sure, Sony wants to make this upcoming Android Xperia PlayStation phone successful, and will try to sell it though as many mobile carriers as possible.

T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant 4G with Android 2.2 Froyo

T-Mobile USA will offer Samsung Vibrant 4G smartphone that will support T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network with downloading speed up to 21Mbps which will be upgraded to 42Mbps in near future. However, officially  the exact launch date of T-Mobile Vibrant 4G Galaxy S is not yet announced.

Verizon Samsung LTE smartphone has been announced during the CES 2011. But unfortunately, not been given official name of this Samsung LTE Phone. Yesterday, we reported about AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone. Both Verizon and AT&T 4G smarpthone almost have same specs expect display screen.

The new Verizon Samsung 4G LTE smartphone specs reveals that it comes with 4.3? Super AMOLED PLUS display screen while the AT&T Samsug Infuse 4G smatphone comes with 4.5″ Super AMOLED PLUS display screen while both 4G smartphone will be based on Google mobile OS Android 2.2 OS ( Froyo) which will soon be updated with the latest Android version. The new Verizon Samsung 4G LTE is powered by Hummingbird processor at 1 GHz with 8 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front facing camera for video chat.

Both Verizon Samsung 4G LTE Phone and AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G definitely look more better and thinner then the other 4G smartphones such as  Motorola Droid X and HTC EVO 4G. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone, the  Verizon Samsung 4G LTE keys at the bottom are physical rather than touch-sensitive which is interesting because Samsung typically chooses the sleek and sexy look for their phones.

This Verizon Samsung 4G LTE smartphone will come with Skype video chatting feature along with the ability to use it as a 4G mobile hotspot. But it is still unknown how well Skype video calling will perform on this Samsung 4G smarpthone.

AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G Smartphone Announced

AT&T has announced its Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone (mode number SGH-i997). It is the first 4G smartphone from at&t comes from Samsung, not from HTC. The new Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone comes with 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display which is at present the largest screen among the other 4G smartphones such as Motorola Droid X and HTC Evo 4G.
