Samsung will unveils its new high end android smartphone called Samsung Galaxy S2 at Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona. The Samsung Galaxy S2 specs reveals that it has a 4.3-inch Super Plus AMOLED display screen with maximum resolution of  800×480 pixel and more importantly less than 9mm in thickness. T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant Android 2.2 Froyo Update

T-Mobile USA Chief Marketing Officer has announced that the Samsung Vibrant will get Android 2.2 Froyo update  from today(January 21st). T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant Froyo update will be the first to receive update over-the-air(OTA), while all the other versions of Samsung Galaxy S smartphone have received update via their desktop software called KIES. T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant 4G with Android 2.2 Froyo

T-Mobile USA will offer Samsung Vibrant 4G smartphone that will support T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network with downloading speed up to 21Mbps which will be upgraded to 42Mbps in near future. However, officially  the exact launch date of T-Mobile Vibrant 4G Galaxy S is not yet announced.

AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G Smartphone Announced

AT&T has announced its Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone (mode number SGH-i997). It is the first 4G smartphone from at&t comes from Samsung, not from HTC. The new Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone comes with 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display which is at present the largest screen among the other 4G smartphones such as Motorola Droid X and HTC Evo 4G.

Samsung has introduced a notebook RF510 that will particularly impress with a pleasant-to-read screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 600,000 Units Sold Out

Samsung has announced over 600,000 units of Galaxy Tab have been sold world wide in its first week of availability. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is on sale at present and the specificity of this tablet can be purchased directly from a phone company.  This allows the user to overcome the high price of Galaxy Tab to the purchase, which is around of 699 €. Samsung Announced Flexible AMOLED Display

Samsung will introduce the flexible AMOLED display screen that has 4.5 inch diagonal WVGA resolution in the FPD(Flat Panel Display) conference next week in Tokyo.  The Samsung flexible screen is 4.5 inches diagonal, while the resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

The Samsung amoled flexible display can be deformed to a radius of one centimeter, without suffering any damage. Without citing specific technical data, Samsung promises far too low latencies, which should make a video playback without ghosting.

Google is paving its way for the next version of the mobile operating system Android, which goes by the code name “Ginger Bread” and may bbe we we see G phone with it . Now is a first screen shot of the new UI appeared.. While the Google has posted a gingerbread man in the front of its headquarter, however, Google has still not announced the release date of its new mobile operating system Android 3.0 gingerbread. But there are rumors in the market that Google will launch the Android gingerbread on 11th November.

More Graphic changes in Gingebread: Google has confirmed  that it will revise the user interface in the coming Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Samsung 7 inches Super AMOLED Display Introduced

Samsung 7 inches super amoled panel will be displayed at FPD International exhibition in Japan next week. Samsung has developed a 7 inches Super AMOLED tablet for production. Mass production of the samsung super amoled display panel will start in mid 2011, while Samsung’s new OLED factory is ready. Samsung now produce small OLED panels including samsung wave super amoled phone and a couple of Nokia smartphones. HTC also used previously OLED in some of their phones, but was forced to switch to LCD because Samsung could not supply enough panels.

Samsung currently manufactures OLED panels from 3rd generation plant. In mid-2011, Samsung has a 5th generaton  factory ready, enabling production of larger panels, but also increases capacity considerably.

At present samsung super amoled production is approximately 3 million per month for handheld devices. This figure will increase to 30 million panels, where a new 5.5 G factory is ready. Also, LG and AUO is in the process of constructing the mass production of OLED.
