Sony has presented the VPL-VW90ES 3D Projector at the IFA 2010 in Berlin. This is the first 3D video Sony 3D Projector for home use. The report IFA 2010, in Berlin, Sony Professional announced the launch of its first 3D projector for home use, the VPL-VW90ES, which gives film fans the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable cinematic experience from the comfort of their own living room . Based on the technology of glass ‘active glasses’, which was used in Sony’s line of 3D TVs , the VPL-VW90ES is designed to deliver an optimal 3D experience that will seem completely natural in the eyes of the user.
To achieve excellent image quality required in a home theater system , including the true depth of color and brightness , the VPL-VW90ES is equipped with technology Advanced Iris 3, from Sony. Thus , it achieves dynamic contrast ratio 150.000:1 .
Having the ability to project a 3D Full HD 1080p, the VPL-VW90ES has an improved SXRD panels at 240Hz, which minimizes image distortion , or “crosstalk”, a phenomenon observed in three-dimensional image due to low separation.
