By 20 January, the FCC allowed a Mysterious Tablet PC by Sony with no more pictures,but some sample pictures and instructions have been revealed. The Russian company Rover Computers has introduced another Tablet PC called RoverPad 3WZ10 from the RoverPad series. The new RoverPad Tablet PC brings a 10-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, and has  a clock speed of 1GHz ZT180 processor.

Expert: Apple iPad 2 Coming in April

The next version of Apple’s iPad will be launched in April 2011, a year after the original launch of iPad, according to the Wall Street analyst Brian Marshall by analysis Gleacher & Co. As we all know Apple will take an annual refresh path for its tablet, just as it has done for the iPhone and iPod.

According to Marshall, the iPad 2 generation will have the same shape and size as the current version, which has a screen of 9.7 inches and weighs 680 grams. However, the new iPad 2 will be equipped with front facing camera  and rear,  making it possible to take photos and participate in video conversations via FaceTime, just as you can from both the iPhone and iPod Touch  4th generation.

The Wall Street analyst Marshall also expects that Apple will sell total of 13.5 million iPads in 2010. Apple has already announced 7.5 million copies of iPad have been sold during the first nine month when it came into being the market.

Foxconn New Plant in Chengdu, China to Increases iPad Production Capacity

Foxconn Electronics, among other things makes iPads and iPhones for Apple, has recently begun manufacturing iPads at one of its new factories in the city of Chengdu,China. This means that ipad production capacity will increase up to 10,000 on daily basis.

At present Foxconn’s factory in Shenzhen city normally produce approximately 2.5 million new iPads per month. Now the Foxconn Electronics has chosen to increase ipad production numbers up to 10,000 which means the popular Tablet PC iPads demand has increased significantly.One reason may be that Apple plans to release iPads in even more countries. Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland are probably the next in line. It wrote the respected American newspaper The Wall Street Journal last week.

Foxconn Electronics started producing iPads at the new Chengdu factory earlier this month. The factory is expected to grow over time, which during 2011 will make it one of Apple’s biggest iPad suppliers. According to rumors planning Foxconn Electronics, the factory of the future must be able to produce up to 40 million iPads annually.

If the rumors are confirmed, the same plant will also take part of the iPad 2 production expected in first quarter of 2011.

Acer Unveil Iconia Dual Screen Laptop/Tablet

Acer has recently introduced the new Iconia laptop/tablet which has dual screen during the global press event in New York.  In the style of the Toshiba Libretto W100, Acer’s Windows 7-based laptop named Iconia is equipped with extra screen instead of a keyboard.

The new Acer Iconia laptop/tablet with two multi-touch screens has a resolution of  1366×768 pixels. The new Iconia notebook computer comes with either an Intel Core i5 480M, 560M or 580M processor and up to 4 GB of RAM.

Further specifications of Acer Iconia laptop include USB 2.0 and 3.0, up to 750 GB hard drive, 802.11g / n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G WWAN and web camera. The new acer laptop computers has a weight about 3 kg which is ok for such kind of device.

An interesting feature of the Acer Iconia laptop/tablet is its cloud based media sharing system enabling any number of gadgets to talk to one another in order to make content visible and shareable with any other device. But to enable this service you need to have router and Wifi connectivity nearby.

Besides dual-screen computer displayed Acer will also introduce two new Android tablet computers, One of seven inches and other at 10 inches, both android tablet will come out in April next year.

The Daily:Apple iPad Newspaper Coming Next Year

Apple is planning, together with the media company “News Corporation” in a newspaper to work for the Apple iPad called  “Daily”. The merger of these two companies is unique, because it means a joint venture between the computer and publishing industries. Means Apple and News Corp would be launching a a newspaper for all iPad called “The Daily.” According to Rupert Murdoch, iPad device is an inevitable, essential and important for the future of media. Steve Jobs seems to share his view, allying with Murdoch to create a newspaper to iPad, “The Daily”. It would be great news for the industry, as the distribution of the newspaper will be scheduled automatically on the iPad.

Rupert Murdoch, head of the News Corporation, is a proponent of digital paid content – including the “Daily” is to be paid for. Murdoch also owns television stations in addition to numerous influential print media like The Times or the Wall Street Journal. Currently, about 100 journalists are already for the new Apple project have been hired. According to the British newspaper “Guardian” of the Apple Corporation will be recruited journalists from tabloids like The Sun or The New York Post.

It is not currently provided in print or online edition. “The Daily” will be available for 99 cents a week. Its implementation has committed almost 100 journalists. Once again, Apple intends to other producers and companies, adapting to new ideas and opportunities with the arrival of the tablet.
