Toshiba has introduced world’s first LED TV which has been equipped with emergency power supply in the form of a rechargeable battery. The new Toshiba Power TV family of battery-powered LED TVs has been specially designed for those place where power supply is uncertain.
According to Toshiba the new Power TV series can easily be adapted with the stronger infrastructure environments. TheToshiba Power TV family has an internal battery system which will be handy in places where power supply is not reliable. When it is fully charged battery is capable of running TV in about two hours.
The new Toshiba Power TV family has also been equipped with an “Auto Signal Booster” that will enhance the transmission signal so that users can watch TV in areas with poor reception. There is also an “Auto View” function to optimize the picture settings based on ambient light conditions and reduce the TV’s overall power consumption.
The new Toshiba Power TV series sets will initially be launched in Japan with the available sizes of 24 inches and 32 inches.
The new Toshiba Power TV series price is not yet known.
